Hello,

Today, Fri 1/12, two teams that reserved Rosita arrived to the field to find it full of young children being trained -- I recognized at least one MVLA coach.  One of the arriving authorized teams was mine, so I happened to be there.  I asked the second authorized team to leave and go over to an evening slot at Foothill free of charge since it was apparent that asking the young kids already there to leave would prove mayhem given that their parents had left the site.

I came home to check my records and I can find no reservation for Rosita on this Fri or any other Friday except for a couple upcoming practices and tryouts.  I currently have two more requests for reservation that came in tonight that I need to serve and I am concerned that if MVLA teams are poaching fields, we'll end up with the same situation that occurred today.

I want to reiterate that no MVLA coach is authorized to use any field without a reservation obtained from me (Field Coordinator).  Furthermore, our winter permits are limited to weekends (which include Friday) right now due to the freeze/frost or rain conditions.  I stated this limitation in an email to the club dated 12/20/2006 where I was clear in offering reservations to Grant, Rosita, and LAHS for weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) practices and games. 

Please refrain from poaching.  Next time, offenders will be booted off the field regardless of age and their team(s) fined.
If the young teams using Rosita today believe they had a reservation, please contact me and send me the email I sent you that confirms your reservation (in which case, I will humbly apologize for my oversight).
