I have been receiving numerous calls and emails in regard to the International Clearance and Waiver policy. Apparently information was distributed that informed you to notify teams that ITC forms would be checked at the first round of State Cup.  This is inaccurate information.  In fact, Region IV announced in October that they will not be checking these forms at Regionals either.  

 

Pete has given me permission to ask all of you to inform your league registrars that the process for collecting the ITCs is temporarily at a standstill. A proposal should come to the CYSA Registration Committee that will alter the process for handling ITCs.  Until a new procedure is put in place, I’m asking that everyone hold tight and wait for further instructions before submitting ITCs and Waivers to the CYSA office.

 

Please get the word out that we will not be checking the forms at the first round of State Cup and that updated instructions will follow in the near future.

 

This may quell the level of anxiety among the league registrars and teams who are unnecessarily scrambling to gather paperwork they have been led to believe is required for all teams playing in State Cup.
