I know we have quite a few dedicated Ultimate players in this group,
but we lack enough momentum for the weekend pickup games. The last 2
weeks we had 5 firm yes votes which was disappointing as 6 is enough to
play (hotbox, or Ultimate if the maybes show up).

I'd like to ask the group what might be done to get just a few more
definite votes each weekend? Please offer any comments/feedback.

Ideas:

1. Everybody who is a Yes try to bring a friend and add their vote on
the poll. The inexperienced people can be guard against each other so
beginners is really not a problem.

2. Go through your address book of Ultimate connections, past teams,
leagues etc. and send them an email to sign up at MUPU.

3. Advertise just a little. I posted a blurb and a link on Craigslist
Groups and actually noticed a number of new members did sign up shortly!

4. Are Sundays better than Saturdays for more people?

I firmly believe that this group will grow and build momentum - but I
would like to expedite. It's spring, let's play!
