I do not know how many of you are interested in the course but if you are, please sign-up ASAP.  If we do not have 7 people signed up, then we risk not having the course.

There's been a new exciting development as well.  A grant has been given to promote women's Ultimate.  It will be used to provide rebates to the 2007 coaching clinics to:

- women that coach
- men that coach women's or mixed teams
- anyone who runs a women's clinic

This is really amazing and should mean that every clinic is full or near full!

So if you fall into one of these categories, then your course has a chance of being paid for so you should get the ball rolling to get registered.

Hello Milwaukee and Chicao area players and coaches,

 

I wanted to let you know that a date and a site have been finalized for the 2007 UPA Level 1 Coaches Clinic.  Below are the details and a link to the UPA site.  Please spread the word to all those who may be interested in signing up.

 

When: February 17th, 2007 - The clinic will run from about 8:00 a.m until approximately 4:30 p.m. - so you can still go out for Valentine's day dinner 

           - Morning and afternoon snacks and lunch will be provided.

Where: Mount Mary College, 2900 N. memnomonee River Parkway, Milwaukee, WI  53222

Cost: Coach's clinic $70 + UPA membership (information about discounts for coaches of women's/ coed team is avialble at http://www4.upa.org/outreach/womens/coaching)

          Volunteer clinic $20 + UPA membership

Bring: Playing attire, Indoor and outdoor shoes (if the weather is nice the practical portion will be held outside, if it is not nice, we will be in the gym).
