Hello Friends,

Not sure if you received this yet, but in case not, but I wanted to forward it on -- theres a cool new thing going on in Macomb County -- It's a new Young Adult Group -- It's been years in the making and YEAHEE!FINALLY we have got it going!!!!  There are a lot of cool people already participating in the planning of things and now a great new Leader in Joe Thomas (see below)

And the kick-off EVENT is looking even cooler!!

On BEHALF of EMMAUS Young Adult MINISTRIES of Macomb County (Previously CROSSOVER), I would like to invite / remind you all to/about the long-awaited YOUNG ADULT KICK-OFF -- A FREE CONCERT with FREE FOOD and REFRESHMENTS!  Please take a look at the attached JPEG file for details.  Michele and I are planning on going, and I think you all will enjoy it if anything as something different to do on a Friday night.  Hope to see as many of you as we can!

E.P.S.  Emmaus? What does it mean?  Well, here are a few hints: There was this road leading to it and sometime around 33AD, there were these 2 guys walking on it, then all of the sudden a 3rd showed up.  The two didn't recognize the 3rd until later at dinner ... (http://www.allaboutjesuschrist.org/road-to-emmaus-faq.htm).  Aren't we all on a road to somewhere (especially as Young Adults) and sometimes we don't recognize He who cares for us above all else as He is walking right along side us?  Pretty cool name relatively speaking huh?  In my opinion, yes. ;-)
