I was asked to make sure everyone knows about the Cross Country Championship race.  More info is on the club website (http://www.mcrrc.org.) and as always, volunteers are needed.

The Montgomery County Road Runners Club, in association with other DC-area running
clubs, is hosting the 2009 USA Cross Country Championships at the Montgomery
County Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood, MD on February 7, 2009.

In addition to the XC championships, we are also having a 4K Community race that
is open to all runners. Teams are welcome.

information or to volunteer. Commemorative technical race wind shirts are also
available for an additional fee.

For out-of-town participants, accommodations are at the nearby Rio Center
in Gaithersburg. Deadline for rserving hotel rooms is next week. For
