The Buckeye Express Running Railroad Ultra Team needs a 40+ female
runner to join its fun filled team. We are a 6 person, mixed, master
team. Two of us have run the old Great Midwest Relay and Reach the
Beach. So, we are familiar with relay racing and the course. We are
from the Dayton, Ohio area and have hotel rooms booked in Madison, Wi.
and Zion, Illinois. We plan to run 3 legs at a time, twice. In all
likelihood, this person would be runner #5 and run about 34 total
miles. We plan to average about a 10 minute pace. So far this year two
members have run ultra marathons and one ran a marathon (qualifying for
Boston!) One has run 4 half marathons this year and the other a couple
of 5K's. So, some of us are in shape and others of us will hang onto
our teammates!
If we cannot find a 40+ female runner, we would look for a female
runner and drop to a mixed ultra category. If you are interested or

confirmed they are running.
