Our 9 person team spent $1,100 with the largest expenses being transportation followed by food/drink.  We had free nights at the hotel the evening prior so that total doesn't include lodging.

Unless you can find a hotel near a Van Transition Area, it may only be useful to half the team. The other van would have to travel too far to get quality...
