Having problems with message search?
We rent the vans for 2 days not 3and picked them up Thursday night and returned them Sat night. I think we are in for a 12 passenger van for like $200 a van but yes we paid $400 in vans. You can try to use mini-vans which we did the 1st year but found that we really wished we got the 12 passenger ones for the extra room. I would not borrow a van from someone as you want a van you can return and pay someone else to clean and deal with.
I don't remember what our final cost was but it was probably $125-130 a person by the time we were done with the registration fees, vans, food, etc.

Subject: [MC200Relay] Van rentalI'm looking at getting a (first time) group together for 2010, and made some calls about renting a large van. This gets pricey. Vans go for $130/day, plus $10-13/day for each additional driver. For 3 days the cost could easily top $600. How do you folks deal with this? Do you just put with the expense, or are some other options I am overlooking. Any help would be appreciated. (Also, for first timers, a how-to-do-it manual would sure be helpful). Thanks.
