Re: [MC200Relay] Garmin?

I never had any real issues while running getting lost.  I carried a paper map as Russ suggested below and thought the course was well marked.  I wouldn't want to carry a garmin while running.

As for while driving, I did hear of some people who got lost and a garmin would help and I saw a lot of people with them last year.  I know someone circulated the coordinates for the transition areas.

You are supposed to carry a phone and a copy of the map for the leg you are on. A sheet of paper in a plastic bag is a lot cheaper and more durable than any iPhone or other device I've ever seen.

Subject: [MC200Relay] Garmin?

I was told some people got lost last year. I am wondering why each team is not forced to have
a garmin with the route traced at the belt. Is there a reason why this is not so? Even an
IPhone today could follow the route if programmed properly.
