the word "hard" is somewhat relative here. one would assume you are repalcing the main bearings and seals for insurance purposes anyway. so with the motor...

Brian, Sounds like you are trying to jet an engine that has an air leak. You have to use richer jets than normal to compensate for the extra air being sucked...
