As long as it's not cracked all the way through, or cross cracked it's still usable, make sure to use a new "o" ring seal as this is what actually applies...

Jim, I have always heated the cases in the oven to I think 200-250 degrees to let the bearing fall out easily. I can't remember the exact heat that made them...
