produced this for us at Hohenfels to help out the level I.
The narrator is MAJ James Rawlinson, former Viper 03 and now down at
Vinceza AFN south. He is a fellow martial artist and combatives guy.

This is a last minute seminar we threw together. Cost is 30 euros to
cover the expenses of the instructor.
Rodolfo Amaro is a BJJ black belt under Carlos Gracie Jr. We will be
covering basic techniques of BJJ. Open to anyone that has an interest
in learning BJJ and or the basics of ground fighting as it pertains to
the Army Combatives program.
Must have military ID card or permit to enter post. This event is
restricted to Military Personnel and DoD civilian ID card holder only.

TVG Jiu-Jitsu Open King of the Alps 2006
Outrival Jiu-Jitsu Club is hosting the TVG Jiu-Jitsu Open on Saturday,
May 6th, 2006. This tournament will be held at the Turn-Verein
Garmisch facility located in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. This
event promises to be even more versatile then the last event which
introduced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission fighting to the area.

What: Combatives Level I Course
When: 5 Days, 19 -23 DECEMBER 2005
Where: JMRC, Hohenfels, Germany
Why: To improve combatives skills and to allow personnel to gain
Level I certification
How:
This course is being conducted over USARUER half day schedule. It
will start promptly at 0630 in each morning and will end at 1200 in
compliance with USARUER schedule. Those wishing to obtain level
certification and/or have more training time will be able to
continue training at 1300 to approximately 1530 in the afternoon.
Attendance to the afternoon session is completely voluntary,
however, you must attend if you wish to complete the certification
as it requires a 40 hours of training supevised by a level III
instructor.
Course is being instructed by SSG Mike Czarnecki. Contact MAJ
Leavitt or SSG Czarnecki if you are interested in attending the
course. It is first come first serve and limited to 35 total
personnel. At this time we have approximately 20 people registered.
We are possibly going to culminate wtih a Grappling tournament on
Friday the 23rd for those that may only want to attend the Friday
Afternoon session. More to follow.
