international Mensa
special interest group
Sport and Olympic discussions among Mensa members worldwide
M-Olympics is an international forum where Mensa members from around the world discuss competitive sports. The group was founded prior to the Olympic Summer Games in Athens.
Our members come from 29 different countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Egypt, Finland / Suomi, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, México, Nederland, Netherlands Antilles (Curaçao), New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Membership in the M-Olympics SIG is open to Mensans from all national Mensa groups. There are no dues or fees.

Raymond Calverley, managing director, Mensa International Capital Ventures, Ltd., a kayaker and canoeist and member of the 1972 British Olympic team.
Moderator and group leader for cycling, long-distance running and the marathon:
Dave Gordon of Los Angeles, a champion marathon bicycle racer.
Group leader for gymnastics:
Bev Bryant of Maine, a gymnastics coach for 25 years.
Group leader for swimming:
Klara Schreiner of Stuttgart, German silver medalist in the 100 m. butterfly.
