Portland's 8th annual Lunchtime League:

A Handicapped Disc Golf Series

Lunchtime DG Course, Monday evenings, Mid-May through Mid-September.

2011 Check-in times:
Week 1: May 16, 2011: 5:00 PM

Place: GPBC Student Center, next to hole 2.

Format: One round of 14 holes from the long B tees, groups randomized, shotgun start.

* Handicapped Weekly Singles Series - any skill level can win any given week!
* Initial Handicap: based on highest division you have played (ANY event)
* Initial Handicap: Pro = +4.8 / Adv = +1.6 / Int = -1.6 / Nov = -4.8
* Initial Handicap Bump (except Pro: your last year's LL division plus +1.5 shots)
* After 2 weeks: handicap = 80% of the difference between your average and the field average
* For every 5 weeks you play, one of your highest scores is thrown out of your handicap calculation
* Best 12 finishes wins the series by a 1-up points system
* Series trophies to top points finishers
* Pizza / BBQ / veggies frequently donated by GPBC & volunteers
* $5 or $6 entry fee = $4 to payout, $1 to trophy fund, optional $1 Ace Pot
* NO CAPPING THE ACE POT THIS SEASON!
* "Qualifier" prizes for players with most weeks played
* CTP prizes often donated by vendors and players
* Indoor Tournament Central
* Stats posted on web (click Files on left, requires free Yahoo acct)
* Not PDGA sanctioned
* In Student Center: please no alcohol, no unattended children

If errors or omissions in results are discovered after awards, all scores and points are adjusted to their correct value Players not receiving their full winnings are paid the shortfall. Players receiving too much may keep it.
