Just to let you know that Trek dropped the the local shops. They pulled out of The Bicycle Shoppe and Mike's Bikes(gary fisher). I am not happy with TREK Corp. The local shops have supported trek for a number of years and they decided to pull out for someone that wanted to open a corporate store.  They would like for you to be loyal to their brand but they are not loyal to the shops that have supported them for years. I have been in the business for quite a while and even worked for The Bicycle Shoppe. Even though I am not affiliated with either shop I feel there has been some sort of injustice. I do not know the people who work for the trek store and mean no animosity towards them personally, I am sure they are good people. I have debated on whether to send this due to karma reasons. I have started my own Shop out of my home, and hope to have a store in the future. I know most people on this group have a shop they prefer and I hope you continue to support them.
