Hi Gang!

We have some XC opportunities just coming up - Robin Kelly will be at
Boca this Friday - she will coach us for 2 hrs for $25 per rider.
There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, and I have some trailer space available,
so if you are interested, please let me know ASAP.

Also on Saturday, Goose Downs is offering an XC Schooling lesson with
Kathleen Russell - 2 hrs for $65. I will also have a few trailer
slots for that one if anyone is interested.

Kim has her new work schedule pretty firmed up, now, and she is
available on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please let Anne Rowlison know what
works best for you!

LAPC has also agreed to "adopt a jump" on the Boca course for the
Watermelon Mt Horse trials. We have chosen the skinny out of the
water jump, to be called "Nancy's Waterloo" as it is where our
illustrious leader keeps getting concussions! We will plan to work a
bit on it this Friday, but will need more help and perhaps some design
ideas - toilet (loo) humor is permitted! Must be safe for an XC jump,
though. Anyone willing to help with this, let Lisa know.


Sat, April 28 will be a clinic up here with Manuela Propfe. Manuela
taught at PC Camp one year, is an advanced event rider, and lots of
fun. Sunday April 29 she will stay and judge our Combined Test horse
show - Yes, horse show!

LAPC and the Dressage Clubs from LAMS and LAHS will be co-sponsoring a
Combined test show. Dressage and Stadium - so riders, work hard!
It's cheaper to show at home than to haul and stable at night!
Parents, we will have LOTS of jobs! keep that weekend open! and we
will have a work party before, too!
