RE: [LiuSeongGungFu] New member

Hello Rick,
I don't know if the Philadelphia area is too far, but there is an Red Sash there trained by Master Sikes.  I believe his name is Mike Smith, but I might be wrong on his last name. If you are interested, I know I can dig it up quickly. More likely, some of the members reading this will be able to correct me and add information for you.
Good luck!

Hello all,

My name is Rick Hammond and I attended SUNY Fredonia beginning in
1970. I was a student of Jerry and Tom Bradigan around 1975-76. I
graduated in 1980 and went to work as a recording engineer in NYC.

Now I work for Consumer Reports in Yonkers NY and I also am a
Personal Chef, cooking for families and doing dinner parties in
Northern NJ, NYC and downstate NY. I live in Ramsey NJ, about 10
minutes below Suffern NY.

I am a native of East Irondequoit, a suburb of Rochester NY but alas
I am too far away to attend George's school; so I am writing to ask
if anyone can help me connect with an instructor of Liu Seong, even
if they are 50 - 100 miles away.

Yes, I have forgotten much Liu Seong training but since college I
have continued to practice what I do remember and stretch of course.
In NJ I also took up T'ai Ch'i and Pa-kua Ch'ang at Bergen Kung-fu
Academy now known as Blue Dragon Kung-Fu.

I continue to practice Pa-kua on my own and was considering returning
to that dojang this fall, but I would really prefer to return to
training in Liu Seong --- can anyone help me out please?

Thanks to all for listening,

Rick Hammond
