The comment about body structure and the illusion of size got me thinking about
about a
program that would enhance the illusion. The main areas for creating that
illusion are:
Shoulder development, mainly the medial head but the front delts count as well
chest, mainly upper chest region
Abdomen development, nice tight solid midsection with deep cuts in the oblique
and ab
region
Back, Lats
Quad development, mainly the outer quad region
Calves and tibialis (front of lower leg) development
For the delts a good combination of exercises would be:
Side dumbbell raises
immediately followed by medium-wide grip upright rows
immediately followed by overhead barbell press
For upper chest
Incline smith machine press
rush to incline dumbbell flyes
rush to Incline smith machine again
For the abdomen
Dumbbell crunches
rush to hanging knee raises
dumbbell side bends
For outer quads (hard to isolate)
Leg extensions
rush to closer stance smith squats
rush to sissy squats
For calves and tibialis region
standing calves raises
rush to seated calves raise
rush to donkey calves raises
rush to partner assisted toe raises
Lats
Chin ups
rush to straight arm cable pulldowns
rush to lying dumbbell pullover deep
rush to negative chin ups
