I've started using branched chain amino acid supplements. I take them
about an hour before workouts. I've noticed I have more strength and
can lift heavier weight if I take them, which makes sense since there
are several reports that BCAAs are used by muscles as an energy
source. Can you comment about how best to use BCAAs for weight
training? Thanks.

BCAA's are definitely the real deal, I fully endorse this supplement. BCAA's help preserve muscle (reduce catabolism) and might provide some energy for muscle...
