i've been away from this board for a few weeks, I was actually taking some time
off from
posting to renew the creative juives and sharpen the sword. I also got hit hard
by the flu,
which turned into tonsil inflamation, eating and drinking was a problem, but I
manged to get
over it.
I took abot 3 weeks off from training, it actually was much needed rest as I had
been hitting
the weights really hard. I was up to 5 times a week of hard training, I actually
trained twice on
one day. Why the volume? Well I was dieting down and figured I'd try this
approach. Did it
work better? Well I managed to get leaner without having to drop as much
calories, so in that
way yes. In another way it depleted my immune system, well to be fair, the
training and the
lack of proper sleep did, which opened me up to catching the flu and the throat
infection.
I trained today for the first time and it felt good to get the sports car back
on the road, I'll
build up gradually over the next few weeks and should be up to all out intensity
mid to end
of December.
I have also set my physique, fitness and strength goals for next year, I'll
mention some of
them here when I decide to. December is my planning month and I will be setting
goals for all
areas of my life. 365 days to get them accomplished.
