I am coming!!  i rsvp'd to Patore's cell phone and on facebook (hmm come to
think of it, maybe I was signed in as Ken when I rsvp'd to facebook)!!  At any
rate we are having the babysitter come to the park
so Ken and I don't have to trade out.  AND so we don't have to rely on any of
you guys to graciously watch our kids.

I can't freaking wait to play some competitive ultimate.  After watching the
coed series championship go down on the live stream, I'm pretty fired up! p.s.

James, remember when we were Rad Ultimate and training on the sunken in baseball
field near your house?  What was the name of that field?  cause they had lights
and that was a soft cushy field.

Another thought...For all of those folks that were here in 2005ish?  What was
the name of the giant park we had summer league at.  You know the ones in
Henderson in the Del Webb community (I think?)

Ok Pastore.

I called the henderson sports facility to ask if a couple of fields that we had
yet to mention were available.  There is one.  It is called Cactus Wren.  It is
at 2900 Ivanpah Dr in Henderson.  The major cross streets are St Rose and
Eastern.  It is a single baseball field with a large outfield and lights.  It is
also nice to play on.  It is available according to the lady I spoke with at the
sports dept.

However, they are threatening that because this is short notice that may not be
able to allocate people quickly enough - blah blah blah.  So to have Cat email
the woman (Connie Proctor) at the parks and recs dept asap. Her email is
connie.proctor@....

I might be revisiting something that Cat has already done BUT...If this Catus
Wren field does not work (for some reason or another), then Cat might consider
emailing Connie to tell her what our needs are.  We are looking for a single lit
field, from 4-8:30ish on Friday the 5th, something a little larger than 40 yards
wide and 70 yards long, grass would be nice, and a view of the strip would be
amazing but not necessary. Then Connie tell us what is available given those
descriptions.

More info.  Can you tell my girls are taking a late nap everyone??

To reserve fields for the center of town i.e. Sunset Park or Cannon Middle
School.  Call the office located in Sunset Park. 455 8200.

To reserve fields in Henderson call the number AC gave us awhile back.  i.e.
Acacia or Silver Bowl 267 5717

To reserve fields in Summerlin i.e. Willows Community Cntr call the City of Las
Vegas parks and Recs. 229 1642 or 229 6297.

I imagine Friday would be just as busy as any other day, little kids still gotta
practice and play games and right now we are at a confluence of seasons.  Some
kids are still playing baseball, football is in full swing and soccer is
restarting.  

The production company has called, UNLV, LV Parks and Rec, Henderson Parks and
Rec, CSN, and some high schools.  They are awaiting calls back from a few of
them.  I think all of the field mentioned on the listserv fallin w/in those 4
entities.  Although there is some difficulty finding fields, I was assured
fields would be found, and this would go on Friday night.

Oh yeah, I also told them we could use a baseball outfield if need be.

The numbering isn't really the pressing issue, it's getting the front and back
logo's done before Friday.  Can you're hook up do the actual screen printing of
the logos before friday?
