Eric here. I'm not sure Dan checks this as often as I do right
now but anyway there is absolutely no issue with anyone wanting to be
a moderator. You seem to be taking an interest in getting some things
done and if you wish to be a moderator I will certainly put that
process into place. Just let me or Dan or Mike know. Sorry I haven't
responding to a lot of stuff lately but I've been CRAAAAAZY busy and
because of my injuries I haven't been motivated to do much Ultimate
stuff. Still I support all the things that have been posted lately
about the direction things need to go. From my perspective the #1
task that needs to be addressed is a night pick-up game. 3 years ago
we were playing Ultimate 3 times a week. Tuesday, Thursday and
Saturday. We had a game on the East side, a game on the West side and
a game on the South side. Now it's all about Saturday and when the
summer hits it will just get more difficult to get people to come out.
The summer league is fantastic but especially for people coming in
from out of town that want to play pick-up during the week is
essential. The growth of the Las Vegas valley has really impacted our
ability to find field space for an evening pick-up game but I am
pretty sure there is an unused field that has lights on somewhere
during the week. Find it, schedule it and go!
