It's actually the WEST 4 bays.  Opposite the sun in the morning, with
the sun in the evening.  But yes they are the first set of berm ranges,
about 1/2 mile or so WEST of the steel building at the entrance to the
range.

Bring about 200 rounds of ammo.  a good belt with holster.  enough mag
carriers, (you need about 4-5) and about 5-6 magazines.  when you show
just let us know and well get you squadded up.  hope to see you there.

Just show up and shoot.  However, if you are interested in becoming
classified in any of the USPSA divisions, you will need to become a
member.  Otherwise, you can compete at local matches and your
classifier scores will not be recognized by USPSA.

You might be able to join USPSA later and send in your past classifier
scores, but I'm not quite sure how that works.  Robert could help you
with that.

Hope to see you at the range on Saturday.  8:30 shooter's meeting, 9:00
begin shooting.  Bays 1-4 at the Butterfield Range.

Scores have been posted for the Steel Challenge match held on 6/28/08.

Congratulations to Robert for winning both Iron and Optic sights.
Clyde and John B. finished second and third in iron sights.

Coming out of retirement, I dominated the BRT (revolver) division and
will reign as champion until further notice.

This Saturday (6/28) the steel Challenge match will be the following 4
stages:  SHOWDOWN, ROUNDABOUT, SPEED OPTION, ACCELERATOR.  100 rounds
minimum, $10 per gun.  Cash payouts per division.

Setup begins around 7:30, Shooter's meeting at 8:30, begin shooting by
9:00.  Please show up by 8:30 to register.  I'd like to keep the squads
small if possible so we can be done before the hottest part of the day.

Don't forget to bring plenty to drink and some sunscreen.

Please remember the match this weekend is Steel Challenge, not 3-
gun.  100 rounds minimum (bring at least 150).  No rifles or magnum
loads, only pistols.  Take a look at some of the older messages from
the last two weeks and even from about a month ago if you are
unfamiliar with Steel Challenge.

The stages for the Steel Challenge match this weekend (5/24) will be:

Outer Limits, Showdown, Pendulum, and Fade Out.  See the files
section for pictures of the stages.

We will only shoot 4 stages this month - Last month we shot 5 and it
took way too long and way more rounds than most were expecting.  We
will try 4 stages and see if it is better.  So there sohould only be
100 rounds minimum instead of 125.

Another slight change we will be making is that we will only pay out
once per shooter per division.  So if you shoot in the same division
twice and place in the money twice like Randy did last month, you
will only get paid out at your highest spot, thus giving somebody
else a chance for payout.  Any questions, then just bring it up at
the shooter's meeting.


So I will see you all Saturday 5/24 at 8:30 for shooters meeting.  I
will break up the squads then we should be shooting by 9:00.  $10 per
gun, with cash payouts after shooting is over as usual.

I owe last month's payout money to Jake and Kent, I believe - so
remind me on Saturday.
