You must declare which division you will be shooting before you shoot
your first stage.
The divisions will be pretty much the same as I had earlier posted
with a couple slight modifications:
1. Declare whether you are shooting centerfire or rimfire.
2. Declare what type of sights (iron or optic).
3. All rimfires will shoot in the same division.
4. All single action revolvers will shoot in Cowboy.
5. All centerfires with optics will shoot in the same division,
regardless of capacity.
6. Revolver division will be Double Action only.
That leaves us with 5 divisions: Optic Sights, Iron Sights,
Revolver, Cowboy, and Rimfire. Pretty Simple.
Please do not forget: The MINIMUM round cout for a steel match is
125 rounds (if you never miss). Each stage is five strings of five
plates each (5X5=25) and there are 5 stages (25x5=125). Please bring
an appropriate amount of ammunition to complete the stages.
To keep the match running smoothly, each competitor will bring all
their necessary equipment to the shooting line. If you do not have
enough magazines to shoot 5 consecutive strings, bring your loose
rounds to the line with you. Once you load and make ready, you will
not be able to leave the line to find your ammo.
EAR PROTECTION AND EYE PROTECTION IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR ALL
COMPETITORS AND SPECTATORS.
All centerfire shooters will start from the surrender position with
pistol loaded and holstered. All centerfires must be holstered.
Concealment garments are not necessary. Reload from the belt if
necessary during a string of fire.
All rimfire shooters will start from the low ready position. Reload
from the belt if necessary during a string of fire.
Can't hardly wait for Saturday - see you at the range.
