The steel challenge match will be this Saturday, 4/26. 8:00 setup,
8:30 shooter's meeting (mandatory), begin shooting by 9:00. Robert has
reserved some of the bays at the range for us, and the rest will be
used by the cowboy action guys.

We will shoot 5 stages:
Smoke & Hope
5 to Go
Roundabout
Accelerator
Speed option

The cost to shoot is $10 per gun, no discount for second gun since
there will be cash payouts in each division.

Divisions:
Open
Metallic Sights (AKA limited, L-10, Production, Single stack, Etc.)
Revolver
Cowboy
Rimfire

Cash payouts will be determined by number of shooters in each division,
obviously we will not payout through third place in a division with
only 4 shooters, etc.


If you have not seen the Steel Challenge stages before, I will post
them in the files section later today where you can open, view, print,
etc. Please also review the Steel Challenge rules posted in the same
folder. We will follow these rules pretty closely, with some minor
variations, but we will absolutely not make up the rules as we go. All
rules will be quickly discussed and agreed upon at the MANDATORY
shooter's meeting at 8:30.

I will be running the match on Saturday with Randy & Clyde's help. The
stages are very simple to set up, simple to understand, and really fun
to shoot. Steup will begin at 8:00, shooters meeting PROMPTLY at 8:30,
begin shooting as soon as everybody understands the rules, procedures,
etc. Since ths is our first match, the shooter's meeting will be
MANDATORY for all shooters.
