FYI: Our club (Mesilla Valley Pistoleros) earned about 1100 total
points for all divisions. otero, and both of the Alb. clubs earn
about the same amount of points. So essentially, the slot system
doesn't work. It works for clubs that have a huge amount of shooters.
Clubs can only report a total of 12 activities per year, that is why
Rio Salado has 4 or 5 USPSA clubs.
Limited was our club's largest division shot last year. We had 360
points. L-10 had 237, production with 227, single stack 97, Open with
91, and revolver with 61.
I would advise getting on the waiting list. From years past, if you
are on the list and you are 150 or less on the list, you'll get in.

and now..
Forwared from the SC.
The whole New Mexico Section only received 3 slots to the
Limited/Production/Revolver Nationals and 4 slots to the Open/Limited
10 Nationals. It takes 983 Mission Count to earn 1 (ONE) slot to the
Lim/Prod Nationals and 541 Mission Count to earn 1 (ONE) slot to the
Open/Lim 10 Nationals (this is how the counts break down at USPSA and
this is how they award slots to the clubs). None of the clubs in the
section earned a slot with their mission count to either Nationals. I
am wanting to distribute the slots fairly, so I am asking you to
please reply to all as to which 1 (ONE) Slot for either of the
nationals your club would like to receive. Please let me know asap as
I would love to get these out to you. Should we want more Limited (or
Open) slots, there is a slot exchange for Section Coordinators on
USPSA and I will list for you and see if we can exchange.
I would highly recommend that you tell your members to get on the
waiting list when it comes out for Nationals. Usually all who are on
the list get a slot.
Thanks
Cheryl :)
