On Monday night six LCCers raced in the best conditions so far in this Time Trial season, and the times showed it. Moonshine trialed for the first time this year and had a great finish. I, the Badger, again had somebody drafting me - in fact, a whole team. I don't know if they can't resist me, or I need to shrink my wind profile.
Other than Dan, who cruised to a LCC Time Trial record time, the race was pretty tight with four riders within 17 seconds, and three within 8 seconds.
And...even though we start riders at 30 second intervals, there was a pack of 3 where 2 (Chapstick and Dan) crossed the line at exactly the same time and another (Grizz) was only a second behind them. As the timer, I thought I made it very clear that riders were supposed to stay at least 10 seconds apart to allow time for me to record finishing times. Also, I think we'll have to review the video to check for any drafting violations. You'd think these triathletes would know the rules, wouldn't you?
