To All EPRU Clubs:



You may get this more than once...but they say 'the more the merrier'.
Please read this over carefully so you understand what's what. This is
the same as it's been for many years.



The East Penn Rugby Referees Society is having its Annual Winter Cert
Course and Clinic on Saturday Feb. 2 and at 2 different locations to
make it accessible to everyone in the Union.



The morning Referee Cert Course is only for those people that want to
learn how to referee whether they want to do so right away or maybe in
the near future.



The afternoon Clinic is mandatory attendance for every club and is
design to provide the latest in refereeing information, including law
changes, etc. important to each club. It is your opportunity to ask
questions in bettering your understanding as to how the East Penn Refs
interpret certain laws, etc. Failure to send at least one club
representative will result in a $100 fine by the EPRRS. That's twice the
cost of attending.





Referee Certification Course 9AM Start

New Level 1 Certification Course to be held in February



East Penn will again be conducting Level I Certification Courses in
February. The course will be held in two locations (Allentown &
Harrisburg) on Saturday, February 2nd. Please come back for directions
and specific course information.



The Course will begin at 9:00 a.m. in both locations and the price of
the course is $45.00. There is no pre-registration. Please be prompt
as we'll get going right away to give attendees a break between the
course and the clinic.



The Eastern Clinic will be held at Parkland High School in Allentown,
PA. Directions to the High School can be found using the link below.

MANDATORY Annual Clinic 2PM Start



The Mandatory EPRRS Referee Clinic will be held in two locations on
Saturday, February 2nd beginning at 2:00 p.m. Attendance at this session
is MANDATORY for all EPRU member clubs (High School Clubs included).
Each club must have at least one representative. The fee per club is
$50.00. This admission allows for as many members of the club that wish
to attend.



Failure to attend will result in a $100.00 fine per club. Teams with
scheduled matches should contact the EPRRS immediately to assure
coverage for your match and note your absence as acceptable ($50 will
still be collected).
