A hand full of LVH3 wankers (Your's truly, Tots, Peed by Me, Grabbag, Dirty South, Triple Fister and Just Pat) went to Lansdale on Saturday to hash with Philly H3.   They happened to be hashing this day on the northern edge of their territory, only 40 minutes or so from "the valley".  About 35 half-minds assembled for M.I.T.S.'s virgin trail.  Mentored by joint-master Big Tackle, this three legged beast featured plenty of shiggy, a nice amount of water, train tracks, and plenty of good old pavement pounding.  The first check was a nice outdoor spot and featured a variety of beer, food, candy, and blood (as we all compared our hash rash from the thorn bushes we just traversed).  There are some excellent r*nners in the Philly hash, but some how Dirty and Tots were first to the beer?  Second check was held in a cool bar/restaurant named Tex Mex.  On-On was at the north wales pub and offered as much beer, cheese steaks, wings, and  burgers, as you could eat (and yes, Tots did his best to finish it all).  The circle was lively and featured the famous Philly Horn down-down, as well as the famous Philly Hash Songbook (one sheet, one side). LVH3 was called in for visiting, and while I didn' t get to drink from the sacred chalice, the RA (Big Tackle) did open up the circle to a few new songs.  My favorite quote of the day "you know, I've been hashing for 20 years and I only know one song". 
 
All in all, a hell of a time.  Fun trail, great checks and apres and a fun crowd.  Thanks Philly for the hashpatality.  Come on up anytime!
