Re: Lebanon Fair 5K

We would have been there, except we were in State College on our
annual wedding anniversary get-away weekend mystery tour. This year
it was to State College and everything blue-and-white. I did run a 5
km race which started and finished at Beaver Stadium. Hot and humid,
about a 160 runners. My age group (50's) was won in 19:20. It was
Penn State's certified course so it's accurate but that seemed fast
to me. Best parts of the trip: State College has a new minor league
baseball park (Almost as nice as Lancaster's), home of the State
College Spikes. We went Friday night and had a great time. Penn State
Creamery has 100 + flavers, and cheap too. Went there twice. And
grilled stickys at the Diner. Oh and two runners from Lancaster won
awards at the race. See y'all at Bowmansville.

After reading Karen's tale of dodging lightning bolts, I feel a little embarrassed about describing a mere 5K, but... The Lebanon Fair 5K is a fun little race....
