The GU9 Los Gatos WildCats are playing in the MVLA Round Robin
Jamboree this coming weekend, August 25, 26, and we are told that we
need to supply one "volunteer" referee for one game. The game that
we have been assigned is Saturday, August 25 at 10:00am. The referee
should show up by 9:40 at Covington Field in Los Altos. Directions
are below. Can you help me in locating someone that is available and
is willing to help out this weekend? Last year you had some "new"
referees that you wanted to "break in". This would be a great
opportunity for that if you have anyone this year. If we need to pay
the standard ref fee, we are willing to do so if needed. Please let
me know if you have any ideas.

Covington School (Park; Field); Los Altos
280 to El Monte . Take El Monte north (away from Foothill College .)
Right on Cuesta Drive . Right on Campbell Avenue . Right on Rosita
Avenue . Parking area is at the end of Rosita Avenue , on the right.
There are two fields in this area. Rosita Field is directly in front
of the parking area, while Covington Field is to the left. To reach
Covington , walk left from the parking area along the end of Rosita
Field, past the baseball backstop, to the fence opening to Covington
School Field.
