Well, maybe not a V8 Interceptor (if you don't get the reference, rent Mad Max, the first one...) but it is one of the last '08 Superflys!

'08 Fisher Superfly 19" Completely stock. Ridden less than 10 times, I realize I just can't ride a hardtail, at least not out here on the typically rocky CO trails. Too old, I guess.  The bike would be perfect on less rocky terrain or for a younger, better rider who can cope with a hardtail.  The bigger wheels deal with smaller rocks and roots like they're not even there.  My guess is you could take 5 to 10 minutes off your best time with this thing at Piney Hills compared to a FS 26" bike.

Anyway, the bike is like new, no damage whatsoever. Climbs like a scalded ape and just flys on fire roads. One ride and you'll see why the Superfly is THE hot new bike for XC racing.

I know, the bike retailed for roughtly $3000 plus taxes... BUT, you can't get an '08 anymore and the '09 version, which is exactly the same bike, will cost roughly a grand more WHEN they become available. If you missed your chance for an '08 'Fly and don't want to pay the exhorbitant price increase for an '09, here's your chance for a reasonably priced, very lightly used '08 for a little less than the original price plus taxes and a whole lot less than the price for an '09.  I'm asking $2900 and I'll split the shipping with anyone in the LAMBRA area.

"Climbs like a scalded ape" - how did you know I needed a good laugh today?
