I just got word that Kokikai Summer Camp 2007 is in Villanova (PA)
July 19 – 22.

Winter Camp is March 9-11 in NJ.

Junko Nako Rich is a Travel Representative (anyone planning a
vacation?)  She will be joining us for our Beginner's Session starting
this Monday.

Tiesha D "Byrd" Hughes will be joining our "Family Beginner's Session"
starting March 7.  Please welcome her and her son Ju'Quan Q Mills, 9
years old.

Please also welcome LeeAnn who joined our last beginner's session two
weeks ago.

Thanks to all who attended the demonstration last Thursday.  We had a
great group of people from outside the dojo, several MIT dojo alumni
and regular students, as well as members and prospective members of
our dojo.  All in all we had at least twelve akidoka!  If you were
unable to attend, we hope to have another such occasion in the near
future.  I have posted some photos from the event on the website.

Please be sure to attend Thursday's Class if you can.  My instructor,
Dave Comi will be coming to hold a special demonstration and
beginner's class for us.  If you know anyone who would be interested,
please be sure to invite them.

We will meet upstairs at 7:00, then go downstairs around 7:30 for the
demo.  Anyone who wants to join is invited to join the class.

Andreea and Colin have volunteered to bring some snacks for us.

Look forward to seeing you tomorrow, & tonight also if you can make it.

We will meet at Hei La Moon, 88 Beach St. in Chinatown.  Hei La Moon
is located near the Chinatown Gate but not in Chinatown.  You should
be able to find it easily.  There might be a wait as it is a very
popular restaurant.  Closest T stop is South Station.

Time:  Sunday, December 17th (this Sunday) at 1:00pm

As you probably know by now, Sensei will be giving a seminar this
weekend.  Please do not miss this opportunity to see Sensei for at
least one class if possible.  If you need any information on this the
brochure is in the "files" portion of this site.

We will be going out after class on Friday probably to the Cambridge
Brewing Company, 1 Kendall Square: http://www.cambrew.com/index.html.
I have not had confirmation on that, information should be given at the
end of class on Friday.  If you are interested in coming and won't be
in class on Friday, let me know.

On Saturday night we will be going to Ginza for our annual "Sushi
party" from 9-9:30 on.  Ginza is located in Chinatown Boston on Hudson
St., the last street before the arch.  We have reserved the private
room to the right of the entrance.  Their website is:

Everyone is invited to the parties weather or not you attend the
