Hi all
good to see you back Dean. and a good time. you been working on that. also
was a great Palmy evening.
The club appreciates the efforts of all volunteers who give up to 4hrs + a
night to help on this event. Starting 4.30 & going until after 9pm for some.
Pauls traffic and people safety experience is in valuable.
on the club membership subject, the club is always looking for ways to
increase the member base. (about 180 last year) what sort of incentive can
we offer to grow this. from observing last night and back at the womens Tri
in dec is a lot of unfit and overweight getting off their backside. To keep
these people going through the winter it has to be a good incentive.
one thought is to select a few and offer to help them train and enter other
events. Get them hooked. from the 800 last night there should be some
interested.
so all Kiwi Walkers come up with the suggestions please. all good positive
stuff.
Cheers
Kevin
