Manawatu Striders 10km.

This morning, in beautiful conditions about 180 runners and walkers competed in the second of the Manawatu Striders' 10km events.

We had expected more entrants but apparently a late night watching the rugby and staying home to watch the football kept the numbers low.

There were no great times posted but a few of the regular walkers posted the following times.

Evan Davies 1.06.00

Daryl James 1.06.00

Melissa Young 1.06.35

Anja Scholz 1.09.39

Sharon Wright 1.10.33

Lindsay Wright 1.10.36

Andrus Lei a slow time due to health problems. (not a hangover).

Dean Cocks also no time due to sleeping in and starting late. Shame.

Paul Godbaz also competed but only did 5km in a time which I wont reveal. Obviously not very fast. I wish my legs would go as fast as my tongue.
