See attachment Word document for further details of this event. Most of the guts of which is below. If you are unable to open the email attachment, drop me a line and I can either reformat or mail/fax you the missing info. We are looking forward to a record number of running and walking teams this year to keep Feilding Moa and Marton at an honest pace.  And be warned, on current form Moa will be targetting a new course record!

Cheers

Robert Dabb

CLUB CAPTAIN

Feilding-Marton ANNUAL ROAD RACE RELAY (since 1939)

8th July 2006

Feilding Moa and Marton Harrier clubs have been competing for a Relay Trophy for more than 60 years and these days we extend an open invitation to other running clubs, social groups from workplaces or other sports etc to run against us. The course takes in laps 3, 4 and 5 of the NZ Road Relay championship course so a useful sighter for those doing this event on 7th October.

In keeping with the original spirit of this inter-club Relay, we don't offer gimmicky spot prizes, simply the camaradarie of running/walking as a team and a decent energy- replacing afternoon tea afterwards.
