17/18th June Taranaki Walks Weekend. New Plymouth.

18th June Sunday. Manawatu Striders of Palmerston North have the first of their winter series leading up to the Half-marathon. 5km and 10km.
25th June Sunday. Harbour Capital Half-marathon and 10km at Wellington.
8th July Saturday. Halcombe Relays. 2 or 6 person teams. about 30km.A very enjoyable event, as most relays are.
9th July Sunday. Manawatu Striders of Palmerston North have the second of their winter series. 5km and 10km.
29th July Saturday. Wanganui Harriers hold the Whitlaw Cup handicap road walk. 8km on good rural road.

30th July Sunday. Manawatu Striders have the third of their winter series leading up to their Half-marathon. 5km, 10km and 15km.
6th August Sunday. Levenes Half-marathon at Taupo. This is NOT a race, it is classed by the organisers as a fun run/walk. There is NO judging or monitoring.
19th August Saturday. Various Centres of Athletics NZ are holding their Centre Road Champs.
20th August Sunday. Manawatu Striders Half-marathon, 10km and 5km at Palmerston North.
26th August Saturday. Hawkes Bay Marathon and Half-marathon relay.
