It looks like there must have been a real battle at the front in sunday's Wellington half-marathon with Amelia De Lorenzo (W44) coming home in 2.08.45 followed closely by Peter Baillie (M59) in 2.09.08. Peter, a friend of this group, will obviously be a serious competitor at the NZ Masters Games in Wanganui early next month. Peter also walked a 3km track event on saturday in a time of 16.32.

Other members of this group who performed at Wellington on sunday include Bart Jones 2.30.30 and Bruce Lacey of Wanganui who recorded 2.36.37.
