To avoid confusion to newcomers, discussion should be limited to authentic Kickbike products. This is NOT a commercial site but we need to point out that the term "Kickbike" is not a generic word used for all adult sized scooters. In the US "Kickbike" is a registered trademark of Kickbike America, Inc. Kickbikes have a very specific design that's easily recognizable. The large (700c or 26 inch) front wheel and 18" or 16" rear wheel give it a distinctive look and functionality, making the it the only adult scooter truly engineered for fitness and longer trips. Because genuine Kickbikes are so unique we ask you to limit your discussions to only genuine Kickbikes and related products, unless you are making practical comments and comparisons with other brands. By this we hope to avoid discussions of homemade scooters or problems that you may be having with other scooters that are not engineered to be used for fitness and touring. Please note that there are several other "Kickbike" discussion groups on the web that cover more generic scooter topics. While they are not officially sanctioned by Kickbike America, we welcome you to look in on them as well. That having been said the forum here is open to criticism and praise of Kickbikes products,...so have at it,...good or bad,...share your ideas and network with others to form new clubs and events!
