Well I just got married! I can't believe it, just last year  I was beginning to
think i     would never meet anyone. I'm 25 already and I thought it was all

hey everyone! Sorry that nothing's been sent out in a LONG time, I
guess if I wasn't go to take care of this list I shouldn't have mad
it huh? well, anyways, as you all know, Kerry came back from elbow
surgery in (I believe) May and he's been doing so so ever since. He's
had some games where he's been great, but he's had other games where
he's been awful. But hopefully he'll get the stuff that made him NL
Rookie of the Year in '98 back and then he'll dominate agian. I
believe that kerry will be pitching on Thursday, unless they have an
off day between series and he last pitched on Saturday and he got the
win(I think) Well, I'll get going for now. If you guys have anything
to say, don't be afraid to speak up and say it. Anything to do with
kerry is allowed! TAke Care guys!

This list has been really quiet lately and so much has been going on! My tape
of Kerry highlights and interviews has grown tremendously lately! I was
hoping he'd be ready in early April in time for the Cincinatti series, like
they predicted early in spring training, but i doubt that's gonna happen now!
But, he pitched great yesterday! Too bad it wasn't on TV here in ohio..i was
looking forward to seeing it! I think they need to broadcast more ST games on
WGN....i don't get Fox Sports Chicago :o(.

OK, actually the main reason i was writing this is because i was wondering if
anyone has Kerry's 20K game on tape and would be willing to make me a copy of
it. I've never seen it! ::sniff sniff:: I've tried to get it, but nobody has
it! I'll pay for it, so you don't have to worry about that! Thanks a ton!

Like I said...i must have been dead that week!!! I can't believe it either! I
feel like such an idiot! Plus, i don't live anywhere near chicago or
scottsdale, so it probably wasn't in our papers very much....i just feel like

PHOENIX (03-19-1999 19:17 EST) -- When nature calls,
       sometimes it just can't wait. At least, that was Chicago Cubs
       pitcher Kerry Wood's defense when two Scottsdale police
       officers caught him and a friend urinating against a parking lot
       wall on Feb. 13.

       "I can't stop now. I have to finish," Wood told the police
       officers, who caught him at approximately 1:10 a.m. behind a
       strip of businesses and night clubs.

       Officer Brian Brown said Wood's demeanor was "cooperative."

       Kevin Walker, a minor league pitcher with the San Diego
       Padres, was also caught in the act.

       Officer Jennifer Clair described Walker as intoxicated and
       sarcastic, but still cooperative.

       The police report didn't indicate where Wood and Walker were
       before the incident.

       Wood, the 1998 National League Rookie of the Year, missed
       his original court date of Feb. 23, causing Judge Joseph
       Olcavage to issue a warrant for his arrest. Wood has since taken
       care of the citation, paying a $90 fine and pleading guilty during
       his rescheduled court date of March 12, said a representative of
       the Scottsdale Municipal Court on Friday.

       Cubs spokeswoman Sharon Pannozzo said the team has no
       comment.

       Wood tore a ligament in his right elbow Saturday and won't be
       able to play this season for the Cubs, who are currently training
       in nearby Mesa.

       Walker, 22, also missed his court date and the warrant for his
       arrest is still outstanding. Padres spokesman John Dever said he
       knew nothing about the incident. The Padres' spring training is
       based in the Phoenix suburb of Peoria.

       Officer Scott Reed said hundreds of public urination arrests are
       made each year in the same area of Scottsdale.
