the last two weeks have been really hard for me. i thought i had healed more
but apparently not. i was bitter at the pocono track for naming the garage
after adam petty. i mean sure he was a great kid but did he ever even RUN at
pocono? and unless i missed it when i sneezed or something, none of the fox
programming this weekend even mentioned the anniversary, and neither did the
nbc coverage tonight. rpm2night did remember on friday, but shame on the rest
of them. and if nascar had paid even 1/10th of the attention to adam or
kenny's wrecks that they did to dale's, dale earnhardt would probably still
be alive today, and we wouldn't be forced to see the dale tributes non-stop
while kenny's last race and his untimely passing are virtually ignored.
bitter and angry and missing kenny, that's me.
