As shocking and painful as it is, Kenny Irwin is gone. It all seems so
unfair. All we have now are the memories, pictures and stories to share
with each other.

I can only say I hurt more than I can express in words. I am sure you all
feel the same. Kenny won my heart after I met him for the very first time.
His genuine, caring nature was so evident every time I talked with him.
Kenny never, in all the times I saw him, turned down a chance to talk, sign
autographs, or just give NASCAR fans his beautiful smile. I will always
remember his soft spoken voice, his eyes when he smiled and his passion for
racing.

Most of all I will FOREVER feel that empty feeling inside each time I watch
a race. I can only thank GOD that I had the chance to meet Kenny and have
the honor of doing a Kenny Irwin Newsletter.

With each day that passes the pain may ease alittle, but his memory will be
as strong as if he was still here with us. All my prayers go to his family
and friends. May they find the strength to get through this most difficult
time.

There are no words at a time like this to make any sense to why Kenny Irwin
was taken away from us long before the height of his career.

As NASCAR fans we can find comfort in each other. As Kenny Irwin fans, the
pain will always be there, but as strong as the pain we feel right now,
thats how Kenny will live in our hearts.

My question to you all is, do you want me to make this a discussion list for
the next few months? I can change a few settings at egroups and we can use
this to share our feelings and maybe help us come to terms with this
terrible tragedy.
