First time poster. Never knew this board existed. I have so many
Kenny memories but there is one that I will never be able to
forget. It was 1999 and he was in town for the Brickyard 400. When
he got into town he called my mom to see where I was to come and get
me for the day. When my mom told him I was at Little League All
Star practice in Beech grove where K&R Tool rental is located he
came to the little league diamonds on his Harley. He came
completely up and out on the diamond right in the middle of our
practice and parked his bike. Still having his helmet on everybody
was like what the hell is this guy doing?! After he took his helmet
off I then realized who it was and went running over to his bike.
Leaning against his bike in right field he talked to all the kids on
my team shook their hands. I left with him on his Harley and we
went over to K&R and talked and hung out for a while. He gave me a
few shirts and sweatshirts that they had just started to sale. He
also signed 15 of his hero cards and his baseball cards for me to
give to the kids on my team.

Another one is when he was running the Craftsmen Truck at IRP. The
night before was the USAC Silver Crown race and after the race I
went home with his Uncle Bill and spent the night at his house and
the next day I spent the day at IRP at the truck race with Kenny and
his team.

When Kenny and Stewart were racing USAC Midgets we got rained out at
Lakeside in Mo. but that definately did not keep Tony and Kenny from
racing. In the rain they took their two rental cars out and held
their own 10 lap exhibitioin race.

There are many more memeories that I have but these are the ones
that stick out in my mind the most.
