South Aussie Kendo

This is the virtual clubroom of the South Australian Kendo Association (SAKA), which exists for people interested in kendo in South Australia - in particular, members of the Adelaide, Flinders and now UniSA University Kendo Clubs.

SAKA succeeds the AdelUniKC as the state's affiliated body to the Australian Kendo Renmei, and so the International Kendo Federation.

Apart from providing the opportunity to learn kend� / kumdo in Adelaide, we also present demonstrations to promote awareness, mainly for schools.

We've had the excitement of running the Kendo competition of the 2002 Australian University Games here in Adelaide to add to the collection of other big long weekends & trips the Clubs have enjoyed so far :). For example, you can see the photos of a beaut Easter at the great 27^th Australian Kendo Championships in Melbourne. We really look forward to continuing to see our spirit build at these events and seminars plus summercamps in SA :).
