92 zx7r flat slides to fuel injection   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #56 of 93 |
hello everybody
i have an 92 zx7r with the factory flat-slides carbs that i will be swapping to
fuel injection.
i love the flatslides for power though the entire rpm range the only time i
don't like them is when idling. my little brother just bought a 01 gsxr with
fuel injection. i got to say i like it. i took his throttle bodies off and
tested them on my intake and they fit. so i have done some research and i have
gone with a mega squirt 1 that will be upgraded to a MS2 to control the idle air
control, and the spark in the future.

What sensors does the mega squirt need, you already have a crank sensor IE (your PIP) I dont think mega squirt needs a cam sensor. Am I wrong? Skeet ... -- ...

Ok it will help to understand, a "Tach" signal will be a crank position signal. Since the crank gives the tach its 1 rotation per minute (rpm) reading. The PIP...
