Cool sorry I took so long to get back to you. I am not a good artist but I can write tech fairly well so should be able to get you through this.
1 make a new mounting hole out of aluminum 6061 is best, to look like the piece in the picture that says new piece. If you can imagine the mounting hole on the bracket without the rest of the bracket thats waht it will look lilke.
2 Cut the bottom bracket hole off using a radius bit the size of your new pieces outside diameter. The outside diameter of the bit should cut just to the old hole, leaving a sadle for the new piece to sit in. that is were your going to weld it, but first.
3 mount the calipar on the top hole then bolt the new piece to the bottom of the calipar and massage it into the sadle so it fits tight. If you made your new piece with a wall thickness if 1/4" the alighnment for clearance of the rotor will be perfect. Make sure you tac weld it in place all bolted together,
4 remove the calipar and finish welding.
If you want to use the counter sunk bolts like I did (I am a stickler for stock looking hardware) you will have to countersink the holes. There wil be enough meat ther for it.
Let me know how it comes out and please post pictures on the website. Are you going to eventualy put a 6r rear wheel on?
