Oh sweet. Now you're all set up! Were you at Nelson Trail yesterday? We rode Bear Creek, saw a bunch of fresh bike tracks, but nobody. I forgot how fun that trail is --- it rips! I really want to get up there and explore on motos...find that missing freeride trail, and explore the area a little more.
Lots of fun!!! Im beat...3 huuuuge days! Video is up...

Chris! Youre in. We will be doing Cannel, or Cedar Creek on Saturday. Trying to get our own shuttle going. Should be a day to remember no matter what! Nelson, Bear Creek...more likely Sunday.

we're planning on doing JO/Mud Hen/Dutch Flat Tomorrow around 11
ish....(Dave, Jay, Alli...) We have room to shuttle 6-8 people if
anyone is interested in going. (Geno - hopefully you can find a wheel
very soon!) Then planning to hit the Brewing in the evening!
Then tentative plan is to do either Cannel or Cedar Creek on
Saturday, then both Nelson Trails on Sunday.

Great thanks Geno! Next weekend sounds like a lot of fun, I could

during the week if I have a bit of notice. I'll be sure to let you

I plan on riding pretty much every weekend this fall/winter. I can also make time for midweek rides if I have enough advanced notice.
Next weekend is the MTBR gathering in Keysville. I plan on riding everyday of it...fri thru Sunday. I have some friends coming up for it and we plan on riding mostly freeride/downhill. If you want to join on let me know. No set plans yet...just plan on doing a lot of riding.

This list also includes all the connector trails between Cooks peak and waggy flat road, and Portuguese Pass trail. Closing Portuguese Pass trail doesnt make sense at all...thats an established signed trail and makes a great cross country loop.

If you move like you did on Sunday, you are plenty fast enough...I was meaning more in terms of getting an early start. Last time we did it, we spent a lot of time in the River. Andrew is planning to come, and I think you should too.
Geno - yes, we are planning to ride Cedar Creek on Friday. An early
start would be preferable. We would like to keep a fast pace, start at
Sherman Pass, down to Trout creek trail, come out on Rincon, and
hopefully be out by noon (+ or -). We are planning to get firewood at
Mosquito Meadow after the ride, so the shuttle starting from Rincon

What is Just Delightful? That sounds Simply Amazing! Just Outrageous! Is that the trail that veers into to JO after the steep climb after crossing the creek? We'll go film it, sounds fun!

We are trying to put this together as well. We have between 4 and 8.
We will be getting a shuttle driver. We are meeting at my house at
8. We will see you up there.
We have 6 riders confirmed for the Cannel on Sunday...Myself, two
freinds from S.Cal and 3 from Bakersfield.
I have the extracab truck w/camper shell and I will probably bring my
small flatbed trailer....so we can probably fit a few more.
If anyone wants to go, let me know. We are planning on meeting at the
bottom trailhead at 8.30 to load up (this Sunday).
Geno
I have a couple friends coming up for a cannel ride on Sunday. Kristin is running the shuttle and there is room for more. I can always put the trailer on the back and folks can ride in the camper/bed.
Hey, in case anyone wants to join in... we're planning to do a couple rides this week: Whisky Flat out & back to 5-mile beach, and that Cannel Creek loop (from lower trailhead - 8-ish miles), and probably the Bull Run double-loopy ride.
