Hi Sensei,

Kanazawa Sensei's Kokusai Shotokan Karatedo Renmei now includes Peichurin (Suparumpei) kata although he changed the name to Hyaku-hachiho which is the Japanese for 108.  He did the same with Nipaipo (Neipai), calling it Nijuhachiho (28).  Of course this is common in Shotokan's history.  Niseishi became Nijushiho (24) and Ueseishi became Gojushiho (54).  He also used to teach Seipai from Goju-ryu (Juhachiho) (18) but I do not know if he officially includes it in his syllabus.

Thanks,
Tyler

Peichurin?   I do but I want to see how your researching skills are.
What branch of Shotokan is actually actively teaching and practicing
this kata as well?
