Kenneth Funakoshi Shotokan DVDs   Message List

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that there is a series of DVDs
that was recomended to me by a purple belt at my dojo by Kenneth
Funakoshi and I recently purchased two of them. They are very good. I will
be heading to college in three weeks and bought them to help continue my
training since I will be away from my dojo for extended amounts of time.
The first one is a comprehensive look at strikes, blocks, stances, and other
basics. It also takes you through a very nice stretching routine. The second
one I purchased has the Heian Katas on it. The others contain the rest of
the Shotokan katas.
While the filming is very amature, it is a great DVD series and coupled with
a book series I intend on getting, also recomended (and used) at my dojo,
I think it will really help me continue my training in college between
attending classes at my dojo.
You can purchase them at centuryfitness.com for only $10.00 (Keep in mind
that I am not affiliated with century fitness, this is the lowest price that I
have seen them advertised at) and I would recomend them even if you
won't be away from the dojo. It can really help with training.
Patrie
